Chapter 230: Username 3 days ago

Sighing, Rayen just went to the app store and downloaded the social media he was familiar with the most.

After waiting for a while, the app finally appeared on his phone. Idol:Revive’s app was no longer as lonely as before.

Tapping the new icon, the app immediately directed him to the sign in page.

Out of instinct, Rayen was just about to log in his old account when he halted midway.

’Oh... I’m supposed to be dead.’ ʀᴇᴀᴅ ʟᴀᴛᴇsᴛ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀᴛ novel~fire~net

It wouldn’t be fun if his old self suddenly went back to life to diss his new self.

With that, he went to create a new account. Since he couldn’t use his old name and contact number to register, he could only use the new ones given to him by Mr. Zi.

After inputting the details, he was once again stuck midway.

[Input Username:]

Now, what should he use as a username?

Just as Rayen stopped to think for a while, Xi Huan had already stood behind him to peek at his phone.

"You should put Grandpa Rayen," she suggested.

’... Scram.’

"I told you, just input Grandpa Rayen," Xi Huan insisted.

Rayen continued to decisively ignore her.

Then, Adrian’s lazy ass spoke. "How about RayenIsAShittyDancer? Or maybe Rayuck? I’ve seen some haters call you that on social media."

Rayen glared at him.

’Are you using this chance to diss me?’

Adrian only smiled as he read Rayen’s expression. "Since you already have to diss yourself, why not take it all the way and make it more obvious? Isn’t it a good idea?

’Damn you.’

After cursing Adrian in his mind, Rayen typed in his new username. From behind him, Xi Huan clicked her tongue.

"What a boring name."

"You think the one you’re suggesting is any good?"

Right, he just remembered. When they were in Seven Flowers, wasn’t their problem back then the lack of creativity?

Anyway, this username should do.

’Maybe...’

"Ugh, I’m dying..." Minji complained.

She buried her face deep in her desk, bored to the point of dying. It’s just been a day after the dorm update of Seedz, but Minji felt like dying already.

’I haven’t seen Rayen enough...’

In that video, it was always Yeo Haru’s face that was in the camera. Although Yeo Haru was good looking, she wanted to see Rayen more.

’I only saw him for 1 minute! That’s not nearly enough!’

That’s right. Minji counted how many seconds Rayen appeared in that 10 minute vlog. The video was only ten minutes and Rayen got 1/10th of screen time, but it wasn’t enough to satiate Minji’s thirst.

After all, back when the show was airing, it’s broadcasting time was almost two hours and she could see Rayen for a maximum of 10 minutes!

She could just rewatch the whole thing again, but she had already watched it for how many times.

’The feeling wasn’t quite the same as when I first watched it.’

"I really miss Rayen..." she muttered to herself.

In front of the classroom, the teacher had noticed Minji daydreaming during class. While speaking, he kept glancing her way, the nerve on his forehead on the point of bursting.

As Seoyun saw this, she stole a peek her friend’s way.

"....."

’She’s gone crazy again...’

To save Minji’s skin, right before the teacher exploded in anger, Seoyun kicked her under the table.

"Ow..." Minji glared at her.

Seoyun raised her book to hide her mouth and whispered, "Old monkey is staring your way."

Hearing this, Minji straightened up and pretended to listen to class.

Finally, when "old monkey" saw that Minji had gone back to being a "diligent" student, his anger gradually subsided.

When break time arrived, Minji regained her usual liveliness. She immediately pulled Seoyun to the cafeteria. Although her primary reason for going here was to eat, there was actually one more reason.

The cafeteria was also known as the gossip hub. Here, she could glean some useful information about all things.

Three days ago, she heard that Bowen from Class D had dropped out from school. Then last week, she heard some upperclassman was kicked out from an idol agency because he was seen extorting other students because of his idol trainee title.

And now, just as the two of them entered the cafeteria hall, Minji could hear an unusual buzz surrounding the entire place.

’Gossip radar activated!’

Minji perked her ears to catch what the other students were talking about. She immediately dragged Seoyun toward one of the lines where a group of year 11 students were gathering to get food.

"Have you seen this show? Idol Revive?" girl no.1 asked.

"What’s that? A new idol show?" girl no. 2 asked back.

"It’s kinda new. It just ended a while ago," girl no. 1 said.

Then, girl no. 3 seemed somewhat interested. "Oh, is there something good about it?"

"I heard it was rigged," girl no.1 answered, but she wasn’t done yet. "Anyway, here’s the catch. I’ve seen a funny post about one of their trainees."

"Where? What’s this funny thing about?" the three girls asked, curious.

As the three girls walked out from the line after getting their food, Girl no. 1 pulled out her phone to show her friends. At the corner, the group of girls formed a circle to watch this interesting clip.

Behind them, Minji had been listening to their entire conversation. The lyrics of the song drifted from their encirclement toward where Minji and Seoyun were standing.

"What is your health goal?

It’s fitness!"

Minji stiffened.

Isn’t this Rayen’s audition song?

Suddenly, the three girls laughed out loud.

"What was that? Hahahaha!" Girl no. 3 asked, still laughing.

Girl no. 2 clutched her belly in pain from laughter. "Didn’t you say this show just ended? Don’t tell me this person debuted?"

Girl no. 1 only nodded.

"F*ck, then it’s totally rigged!" Girl no. 3 remarked.

Upon those words, Minji gritted her teeth. She was just about to step out and confront them when Seoyun held her by the arms.

Minji glanced back at her.

"Don’t stop me! I’m gonna make them bald!"

Seoyun pursed her lips. "You gotta admit it, Minji. Rayen’s audition clip is really..."

"Damn! Even you?!"

Seoyun only sighed.

But then, they noticed the girls gathering once again. The same song drifted out from between them.

’They’re going at it again?!’

"Even this hater is better than him!" Girl no. 2 said.

Minji could no longer hold herself back when the three girls finally finished what they were watching.

Seoyun once again pulled her back. "Wait."

"Why do you keep stopping me?!"

"Listen first."

’What’s there to listen about?! They’re clearly bashing my idol!’

Seoyun pulled her to somewhere far away from the girls. Minji could only grumble while sitting down on a vacant table.

As Seoyun placed her tray on the table, she pulled out her phone, tapped on it a few times then scrolled. A few moments later, she pushed her phone screen toward Minji’s face.

Annoyed, Minji wanted to curse at her, but upon seeing a red hair on the screen, her eyes immediately locked on it.

’Rayen?!’

A person wearing a clown mask with red hair was dancing to the same audition song as Rayen. Minji thought it was Rayen at first, but when she saw the uploader’s username, her lips twitched.

[Rayen’sNo.1Hater]

The post had no caption at all. It was just a person dancing.

His movements were smooth and not robotic at all, unlike how Rayen did during the audition. Even the backflip was more natural than how Rayen executed it.

Minji could only admit... This person danced pretty well.

But what’s with this username?

It was a clear provocation!

Even though there was no caption in the video, just the mask and the username was enough as a provocation to Rayen’s fans.

This person was clearly clowning Rayen!

And then, the reactions...

"F*ck!" Minji cursed out.

Seoyun’s eyes widened. "Ssh! The teachers might hear you!"

But Minji seemed to not hear her. She pointed at Seoyun’s screen.

"Posted one day ago, but more than five hundred thousand reactions already?!"
